Another awesome Ragnar Relay! We had such a great weekend. The running that I did is seriously some of the hardest running I have EVER done, yet I have already regiestered a team for next year... I LOVE IT! I have met some of the greatest people through this relay and have really pushed myself to do things (like run over 7 miles on trails in the mountains when I thought I was only running just over 5 on pavement, that's after being awake for 30+ hours AND already running close to 10 miles, most of which was uphill!) Sounds fun, doesn't it??? :) Crossing that finish line it the best feeling ever...we sure deserved those metals! I swore I would not run again for a week when we got done, well, it's been 3 days and I was walking pretty good today so my running clothes are laying out for a run in the morning. :) If you ever get a chance to run this relay, do it. If you ever get the chance to volunteer at this relay, do it...you'll be so glad you did!

Van 1: Shelly, Jacci, Jackie, Me, Sara and Kim

Ready to start running!

Most of our team meeting up at the 1st exchange. Van 1 was ready to turn the running over to us for awhile

86 degrees and hills do NOT make a good combination when running!

Sporting our refelctive vests. Our van was "lucky" enough to be running from 1am-9am

Day 2: still no sleep, feeling the temperature getting hotter and hotter, knowing we weren't even going to start running again until the afternoon

Me and Jackie - met running Ragnar 3 years ago and I just love her!

SO happy that Sara has run with us the last 2 years...we've been friends our entire lives!

Killing time :)

Kim doing cartwheels in the middle of the road trying to get Sara through her last run, blisters and all!

More hills...more heat...seriously!

Riding the gondola up to the finish line at the Canyons resort

Waiting for our last runner so we could all cross the finish line together!

Final time: 33 hours, 7 minutes and 20 seconds!

Partying at the Finish Line

Home at last...had been up 39 hours and had run 17 miles! Needless to say, slept AWESOME that night!
